Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 27, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how brezel.ai ("brezel.ai," "we," "our," or "us") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit brezelscraper.comor use BrezelScraper (the "Service"). It complements our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences (such as your sign-in state, language, or theme) over a period of time, so you do not have to keep re-entering them whenever you come back. Similar technologies covered by this policy include local storage, session storage, and IndexedDB — we treat them all under this policy regardless of the underlying mechanism.
2. What types of cookies we use
We classify cookies into the four standard categories used across the industry. For each category, we list every cookie we set or that is set on our behalf by a sub-processor.
2.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are necessary for the Service to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are usually only set in response to actions you take that amount to a request for services — such as setting your privacy preferences, signing in, or filling in forms. You can configure your browser to block or alert you about these cookies, but parts of the Service will not then work.
2.2 Performance cookies
Performance cookies allow a site to count visits and traffic sources so that it can measure and improve performance. They tell the site owner which pages are most and least popular, and how visitors move around the site.
We do not currently use any cookies in this category. We do not run third-party web-analytics tools (such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, or Mixpanel) on the Service.
2.3 Functional cookies
Functional cookies enable the Service to provide enhanced functionality and personalisation. They may be set by us or by third-party providers whose services we have added to our pages. If you do not allow these cookies, some or all of these services may not function properly.
2.4 Targeting cookies
Targeting cookies may be set through a site by advertising partners. They may be used by those companies to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant adverts on other sites.
We do not use any cookies in this category. We do not run cross-site advertising, behavioural profiling, retargeting pixels, or similar technologies on the Service, and we do not share data with advertising networks or data brokers.
3. Third-party cookies set on partner-hosted pages
When you interact with components hosted by our sub-processors — for example, when you proceed to the payment processor's hosted checkout to purchase credits — those sub-processors may set their own cookies on the relevant page. Those cookies are governed by the respective sub-processor's own cookie and privacy notices.
- Stripe — set on the Stripe-hosted checkout page for fraud prevention and to remember saved payment methods on your Stripe account. stripe.com/cookies-policy/legal.
- Clerk — set when you sign in (covered above in §2.1). clerk.com/legal/cookie-policy.
4. How long cookies last
Each cookie listed above falls into one of two duration classes:
- Session cookies are erased when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies remain on your device until they expire or you delete them. Where a persistent cookie has a rolling expiry (for example, the Clerk session), the expiry resets each time you re-visit and authenticate, so an active account will keep the cookie alive for as long as you keep using the Service.
5. Your choices and controls
Browser controls. You can configure your browser to accept or reject cookies, to delete cookies that have already been set, or to alert you whenever a cookie is set. Each browser handles this differently — see aboutcookies.org for general guidance. Blocking the strictly necessary cookies listed in §2.1 will prevent you from signing in or staying signed in.
Clearing local storage. You can clear our locally stored preferences (such as your theme) at any time by clearing site data for brezelscraper.comin your browser's privacy settings.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Because we do not run analytics, advertising, or behavioural-profiling cookies, there is no tracking activity for us to suppress in response to a Do-Not-Track header or a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. Our posture is the same whether or not those signals are present: no cross-site tracking takes place on the Service.
Sub-processor pages.Cookies set by our sub-processors on their own hosted pages (see §3) are governed by those sub-processors' cookie notices and controls. You can manage them directly through your account with the relevant provider.
6. Changes to this Cookie Policy
When we add, change, or remove a category of cookies we update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes — for example, introducing a new third-party processor that sets cookies, or beginning to use a new category of cookies — are announced in advance by email and/or by prominent in-app notice at least fourteen (14) days before the change takes effect.
Please note that the tables in §2 serve for general information purposes. The information they contain may change over time, and the tables may be updated from time to time accordingly.
